1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using BlueFin (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

BlueFin provides free, browser-based financial calculators intended for restaurants and local businesses. All calculations run client-side in your browser. BlueFin does not transmit calculator inputs to any server, and does not store the figures you enter.

3. No professional advice

BlueFin's tools provide estimates for general planning purposes only. They do not constitute financial, tax, legal, or accounting advice, and should not be relied upon as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional. See our Disclaimer for further detail.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including attempting to disrupt its availability, probing it for vulnerabilities without authorization, or using the contact form to transmit unlawful, abusive, or spam content.

5. Intellectual property

The Service's design, code, and written content are owned by BlueFin unless otherwise noted. You may use the calculators for your own business purposes; you may not redistribute or resell the Service itself.

6. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. You are responsible for verifying any figures produced by the Service before relying on them for a business decision.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BlueFin shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

8. Children's use of the Service

BlueFin is intended for business owners and operators and is not directed at children. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You agree that any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware.

10. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will stay in full effect.

11. Changes to these terms

BlueFin may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
